The Relaxation, Meditation and Mindfulness diploma teaches individuals and health professionals to become qualified instructors of relaxation, meditation, and mindfulness. It has been designed to give you the tools you'll need to be a competent instructor, helping both yourself and others down the path toward relaxation, enhanced well-being and effective meditation practice.
On this course in Relaxation, Meditation, and Mindfulness students learn how to teach relaxation, meditation, and mindfulness individually and to groups. Techniques include:

Accredited Post Graduate Qualification in Relaxation, Meditation, Mindfulness requires 60 hours of learning and 16 hours of supervised skills development.
Assessment for the Diploma in Relaxation, Meditation and Mindfulness occurs through:
1. Supervised skills development practice
2. Two Session Plan Outline (one 1hr and one 3hr workshop)
3. Delivery of 15 minute relaxation session
4. Reflective learning journal
5. Record of Fifteen to twenty minutes of personal practice twice daily for six weeks.
6. Two book reviews, from a reading list A4
7. Production of a recording of progressive relaxation and guided meditation.
COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants need to: Have acceptable qualifications, in related areas e.g. health professionals, HR professionals and those working in the field of physical, mental or emotional well-being. Or be able to demonstrate that their accumulated knowledge and skills is equal to the requirements of the above.

Sounding from the Heart with Russell Stone
This is a unique opportunity for you to experience being fully present
in a completely safe space through our heartfelt exploration of the Voice.
In this workshop we Sound together in an intuitive way, exploring within. In that exploring, as it
develops, you are invited to be a witness to sensations, thoughts and feelings as they arise, the inner response. As we continue, there will be an opportunity for us to explore that response together in the form of group dialogue – but only if you wish to do so.
My Sounding is devotional in that I prepare for it by doing my daily yoga practice and pranayama – yogic breathing. This means that when I do Sound/sing, I am at one with the Sound/music that is created. I come from the heart, and am therefore in a state of being, not doing.
It also means that we are more able to be in the present moment – in the now. Within this space, the voice has an intuitive quality; the Sounding/music is spontaneous. I believe this leads to qualities of calm and peacefulness being present in the voice itself, and I would love to share the experience with you.
As a professional singer for over 35 years, an Integrative Counsellor and Transpersonal Psychotherapist for the past 10 years, with a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Certificate and as a registered teacher with the Independent Yoga Network, Russell is able to integrate these three disciplines into a form of expression that is exciting, unique and has great potential for healing. http://yogaofsound.co.uk
